Taeliore ("we", "us", "our") provides a real-estate analysis and search tool for home buyers and investors. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: name, email address, password (stored as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
Property search preferences: budget, location, commute targets, family or investment criteria you enter in the intake wizard.
Usage data: pages visited, login timestamps, IP address (used for security rate-limiting only).
Communications: if you contact us by email, we keep a record of that correspondence.

We do not collect payment card data, Social Security numbers, or government IDs. We do not collect data from minors under 18.

2. How We Use Your Data

To deliver property search results, reports, and account features.
To send you notifications you have opted into (new matching listings, digest emails).
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
To improve the service.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure in the United States. We use industry-standard protections including HTTPS, encrypted sessions, and password hashing (scrypt / PBKDF2). No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with:

RentCast – property listing data (we send property addresses, not your personal info).
Google Maps / Places – commute estimation (if you enable this feature, your home address is sent to Google subject to their privacy policy).
Google Analytics – optional site-usage and conversion measurement, loaded only after you allow analytics.
SendGrid / SMTP providers – email delivery.

5. Your Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

Know what personal information we hold about you.
Request deletion of your personal information.
Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell it).

To exercise these rights, email us at support@taeliore.com. We will respond within 45 days.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie (ps_session) to keep you logged in. It is HTTP-only, not accessible to JavaScript, and expires after 14 days. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand page usage and completed signup or checkout steps. Analytics does not load until you choose "Allow analytics". Your choice is saved in your browser and you may clear it at any time by removing Taeliore site data. We do not sell personal information or use advertising cookies on this site.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
